ENVE Motorsports announces wesley Gundler as its first official driver

ENVE Motorsports announces Wesley Gundler as the team’s first official driver, marking an important milestone in the development of the program.

The announcement follows a highly successful test at The Thermal Club, where Gundler immediately demonstrated strong pace, thoughtful technical feedback, and clear performance potential. Both on-track performance and data analysis reinforced the team’s confidence, confirming a strong alignment between driver and program.

“We are very happy to have Wesley with us as our driver,” said ENVE Motorsports. “The test at Thermal was extremely positive and showed great performance potential. We are confident that with the right and well-structured program, we can achieve strong results. We are really looking forward to getting on track and starting this journey together.”

Gundler will compete with ENVE Motorsports in the 2026 USF2000 season as part of a structured development effort supported by Apex Resource Center, which focuses on long-term driver growth, program alignment, and sustainable career progression.

“Wesley has shown the discipline, focus, and racecraft we look for when building a driver’s pathway,” said Trish Johnson, Founder of Apex Resource Center. “ENVE Motorsports is exactly the kind of program we want our drivers aligned with, one that values preparation, technical development, and doing things the right way. This is a strong next step for Wesley, and we’re proud to support him as he moves into the 2026 season.”

“I’m really excited to be joining ENVE Motorsports for the 2026 USF2000 season and very grateful for this opportunity,” said Gundler. “Racing this series has been a goal of mine since I made the move to open-wheel cars. I’m looking forward to growing with the team throughout the year and working toward great results.”

This announcement reflects months of behind-the-scenes preparation, focused on technical development, program structure, and building the right foundation to be competitive from the outset. With the driver, team, and support system aligned, the focus now shifts fully to on-track execution as the 2026 season approaches.
